FAQs

We are a mobile service, we show up at the address of your preference at the date/time scheduled. The process has to be conducted inside our vans as they are already equipped with the tools and level of sanitation required to conduct the cleanings.

If all dogs are booked for the same date and at the same address, yes! Before booking let us know how many dogs you want to schedule and at
which location.

On average 1 to 1.5 hours. The dental cleaning per se takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour, but the bonding with the dog can take anywhere
between 2 minutes and 30 minutes, and finally we need 5-10 minutes more to get the dental report and the pictures ready.

Is better to start preventive dental cleanings at a young age, but not earlier than 18 months of age (Remember you still have to brush your dog’s teeth 2-3 times per week way before they turn
18mo. If done correctly, their first deep dental cleaning can be booked when they turn 2 years old).

There is no age limit on dogs for dental cleaning, actually dental cleaning without anesthesia is a better fit for senior dogs vs. dental cleaning with anesthesia, as most elder dogs can be very
susceptible to the side effects from the sedation of the anesthesia

On average every 6 months. Depending on how the condition we find your dog’s teeth we might recommend 3-4 months intervals, if they are normal condition we will recommend 6 months, and if we
notice yo do a really good job brushing their teeth on weekly bases then we might even recommend 8 months intervals for rescheduling.

All dogs need dental cleaning! …even yours 🙂

Many factors come to take play in answering this question; You might not believe it but dogs act completely different when they are not around their pet parents. Dogs are also very protective over their territory, so taking them out of the spaces they usually are around gives them one less reason to be defensive. When we are alone with your dog inside our van he/she is going to be curious to know who we are and what is he doing there. So while we finish setting up for the procedure we let them explore the rear of the van for a while, we turn on relaxing music for them, and since dogs have a very powerful sense of smell we also infuse calming/relaxing aromas that help them feel tranquil. Then we start playing with them a little, this to create an emotional bond with them so they can start trusting that we are not going to hurt them.

Little by little and with a lot of patience we start luring them towards our lap and almost without them noticing we start their teeth cleaning process. Sometimes is not as easy as it sounds, all dogs are different and all dogs take more time and/or effort than others. Given our many years of experience creating bonds with dogs, you can rest assure that their well being is our top priority; We do have to mention that a very very low percentage of dogs we are not able to perform dental cleanings based on their very own personality that for some reason they are not able to open up to the trust bond, and in that case it is recommended to proceed to dental cleaning through your vet.

Is better to wait at least 2 hours prior to feeding your dog, but it is recommended to let them drink as much water as possible right away, this will help sooth the susceptibility of the gums.
